When a beloved pet passes on, the search for local pet funeral services can be difficult, but it need not be daunting. The main options are cremation or burial, but some may wish to consider the services of a professional taxidermist to preserve your loved family pet just as you remember him or her.

If cremation is the preferred choice, many funeral homes offer the service at a cost to grieving families. Once the cremation has taken place, the option to keep the ashes is usually given to the pet-owner.
