There are many different things you can do at a loved ones funeral service to show love and the uniqueness of the lost loved one. Photographs are common, but you can even add a powerpoint presentation set to music, a kind of slide show to their favorite songs, showing favorite memories.

You can also have wishing books, books filled by mourners with things they wish they had said and done to be buried with your lost loved one. Thus you know they are taking with them all the love you can give them and helping everyone to grieve.

Common are the little booklets that people take home with them, but to these you can add color photos, personal poetry, and even seeds of flowers like forget-me-nots. You can put on the booklet a web address and at that web address have a page dedicated solely to the lost loved one. A place where people can leave their condolences and even upload photos they have found to share with you and your family.

There are many things you can do to show your love, open your mind and ask friends and family to help make one of the hardest days a little more unique and set to the tone of your lost loved one.
